Rhiannon started her path as a healer over 20 years ago as a massage therapist. In 2008 she deepened and expanded upon her dedication to the practice with the addition of a Master’s degree in Chinese Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture from Bastyr University in Seattle. Much of her experience as an acupuncturist comes from various clinical settings in Seattle, hospital settings in Shang Hai, treating people from the around the world on a European cruise ship and private practice here in California. As a practitioner of Chinese medicine she has treated various ailments including: many different forms and causes of pain, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, sleeping disorders, stress/anxiety, insomnia, menstrual disorders, infertility, bell’s palsy, common colds, many digestive complaints, addictions, etc… Her current practice is similar to family medicine with her youngest patient being 3 years old and the oldest treated at 99 years old.
As an acupuncturist she is both California board licensed as well as nationally certified.
Her passion lies in the health of her patients and, therefore, in her own health. When she is not treating patients, researching conditions and continuing education to better herself as a clinician she exemplifies the importance of self care through organic whole food cooking, yoga practice, hiking in nature, hand spinning and weaving fibers, raising her son, and caring for her goats, bees and garden.
